Don't argue with reality

 It wins every time.

"When you argue with reality, you lose — but only 100% of the time." — Byron Katie, Loving What Is

Here's the thing. "This shouldn't be happening" is the most exhausting sentence I know.

The flight's delayed. The hire fell through. The market shifted.

I can spend an hour insisting it shouldn't be so — and the fact just sits there, unbothered.

Acceptance isn't approval. It's not giving up. It's stopping the fight with what already is, so you have energy left to change what's next.

Reality doesn't need my permission. It's just going to keep being real.

What if you dropped the argument and started from what's actually true?
