5 Questions to Build Emotional Resilience Is it useful? Most worrying does not bring any benefit. Decide to act or let it go. Does the world owe me this? You are not entitled to anything. Adjust your expectations. Must I have this to live a happy life? We think we need much more than we do, especially in privileged American society. Is this who I want to be? When are you at your best? Act in accordance with these values. Have I ever felt that way? Put yourself in someone else's shoes. Build real empathy through listening & seeking to understand.

3 Levels of Building a Great Business

3 Levels of Building a Great Business You need: 1 - A great product 2 - Great way(s) to distribute your product to your users 3 - A financial model Too often teams and organizations over focus on building the product and under focus on how to get that product into customer’s hands. Another pitfall is that teams ignore building a sustainable financial model. If the money runs out and the lights get turned off, the 1 and 2 don’t really matter.   What insights have I gained that I am grateful for? - Part I Freedom: True freedom comes from creating your own standards, your own moral compass. Freedom comes from rejecting the insecurities of our culture that tell us to do things we don't like doing and spend our time building an endless hamster wheel that leads to exhaustion and emptiness: Choice: We get to choose. The ultimate privilege is that we can choose what to focus on, we can choose the stories we tell ourselves, we can choose how we spend our time, we can choose what we put in our bodies, we can choose what we surround our minds with. These choices shape our experiences. And our experiences make us who we are. Strategy means saying no: It's not about adding more. It's about taking away what is not needed. It's about focusing on only the essential elements and letting the rest slip away. Love comes from sacrifice: It's scary to be vulnerable, to say what we feel, to put ourselves out there, to be ...
